New Samsung Galaxy A series teased, to offer wide-angle camera, slow motion and fast charging

first_imgIt’s hardly a few days since Samsung unveiled the Galaxy S10 and Galaxy Fold to the world. However, Samsung is gearing up to launch the new Galaxy A series in the Indian market. The new Galaxy A series is expected to slot in under the Galaxy S series models and will offer consumers with a choice of premium designs and extremely capable cameras. It seems that the launch of the new Galaxy A series is on the horizon as Samsung India has just made the Galaxy A series webpage live.The Galaxy A series webpage showcases the three models that will form the new Galaxy A series in 2019. While Samsung hasn’t revealed the names of the new A series models, previous leaks suggest that these three models could be A10, A30 and A50. The photos show the 3 models at various angles.The Galaxy A10 is supposed to be the cheapest in the lineup with a single camera for the rear and an Infinity-V display. The Galaxy A30 is shown sporting an Infinity-U display and a dual camera setup at the rear along with a fingerprint sensor. The Galaxy A50 is supposed to be the most expensive model in the lineup and supposedly sports a premium glass body with a Galaxy S10-inspired subtle gradient colour scheme. There’s a triple camera at the rear and possibly an in-screen fingerprint sensor.The rest of the webpage showcases the photography abilities of the new Galaxy A series. Samsung claims that the new Galaxy A series handsets will be able to shoot videos in wide angle view. The camera will also be able to shoot in slow motion as well as record hyperlapse videos. Samsung also claims support for fast charging on all Galaxy A series smartphones. Samsung has also confirmed the presence of a 3.5mm headphone jack.advertisementSo far, leaks suggest that the top-end Galaxy A50 will come with a 25-megapixel primary camera with F1.7 aperture, a secondary 8MP camera with F2.4 and a third 5-megapixel sensor with F 2.2 aperture. The Galaxy A50 will come with a 4000mAh battery is rumoured to come with Samsung’s OneUI based on Android 9 Pie. The Galaxy A50 is also rumoured to sport an in-display fingerprint sensor.As for the pricing, Samsung is expected to price the new Galaxy A series competitively. The Galaxy A10 could be priced less than Rs 15,000 while the Galaxy A30 could get a price under Rs 20,000.
